"The Bradley Method" © 2007 by Lee R. Bradley
The original objective of these notes was to spell out the details on
what I do on a regular basis when I use my computer. When I'm fairly
confident that what I've built is accurate, I (not in any particular order)
- clear "Private Data" under Firefox
- clear the Boxer text editor's recently edited files list
- clear the Windows Documents menu
- empty the Windows "Recycle Bin"
- run Robomagic's "Socket Watch" periodically to set the
computer's clock
- synchronize the R/W CD w/ the directory on the C: drive that I am
currently using for new material
- flush buffers by closing the Altap ("Servant") Salamander file
manager and ejecting the R/W disc
- defrag, run ScanDisk, an anti-virus scanner, Spybot S&D and a
registry cleaner periodically
- empty Thunderbird's trash (which I've automated) and compact
Thunderbird's folders
- post new material on the servers I use
