I have made a 177-piece puzzle which is a "riddzzle" (see
Lebsters Ltd Ed. Dictionary)
of the 23rd Psalm.
Each letter in the text of the 23rd Psalm was replaced by an image whose
name starts with that letter.
For example, here's the word "Lord":
because Lemons begin with "L", Oranges with "o", Road Runners with "r" and Dogs with "d."
Since there are about 400 letters in the 23rd Psalm, I wrote a program to generate the pages that I glued to the wood. If you would like to generate a "riddzzle", here's riddzzle.zip, an archive which has the executable and the needed images etc.
There are six sub-puzzles in this puzzle. Each has a different background color. Three of the 8 1/2" x 11" x 1/8" puzzles have 22 pieces and the other three have 37 pieces.
The puzzle is for sale for $50.25.
1.htm 1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the 2.htm still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I 3.htm walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they 4.htm comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou annointest my head with oil; 5.htm my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the 6.htm house of the Lord for ever.
Here's an animated riddzzle of The 23rd Psalm.
